David Harvey
Director
David is a former soldier and farmer who enjoys creating and enabling new business.
After studying Economics and Agriculture at Newcastle University in the ‘80s he attended Sandhurst and spent a few years in the army before coming home to run the family farms.
Since then he has started new businesses and has developed a passion for sustainable green energy and agriculture.
A former company chairman, he is keen to be involved in more sustainable businesses in the future.
In his spare time he likes to fly fish in wild and remote places.
Rod Mountain
Director
Rod is an Environmental Scientist who majored in the world’s weather systems and is an ex-professional tennis player.
He has spent thirty five years developing businesses for companies large and small. In the nineties and 2000s he head-hunted top talent at the most senior levels for the world’s most discerning, blue-chip companies such as Unilever, L’Oreal, Nestle, Diageo etc.
The past eleven years have been spent focusing on renewable energy and the CO2 emissions benefits of solar photo-voltaic and Battery Storage.
Outside of work, Rod likes to ski, play tennis and write.
Jon Clifford-Smith
Director
Having studied Metallurgy at the University of Surrey, Jon then moved to London and spent 12 years Money-Broking, specialising in cross-currency arbitrage with international banking clients.
Then at The Organic Wine Company, he computerised the accounts and stock-control and prepared their business plan.
In 2002 he joined Close Brothers Merchant Bank in Corporate Finance, arranging invoice discounting and factoring for existing and new clients.
Since 2009 he has been in renewable energy, preparing client grid applications, energy-assessments, cost/benefit and cashflow models for renewables projects.
Jon enjoys squash, mountain-biking, skiing and golf and is a keen musician playing several instruments.
Tom McGuffie
Director
With history at various levels of management in technical sales and marketing in the UK and internationally, Tom is experienced with broadcast, computer software and renewable energy - supporting direct and indirect commercial clients.
Looking after international sales for Matrox VITE covering Scandinavia, Netherlands and the Middle East, he then joined Imaging Business, a design and branding company, as Sales Director.
In 2009 he became head of Sales and Marketing at Futuresoft Ltd, a multimedia digital signage company - selling to satellite, broadcast, government, education and banking.
In 2013, Tom became a director at an energy consultancy to reduce clients' energy consumption, CO2 and costs - using renewable energy.
Tom enjoys badminton, golf and world travel.
Ingrid Mountain
Director
Ingrid has a B.A in Geology, with an emphasis on Geo-Physics. Her thesis resulted in the correction of the accepted wisdom concerning Vermont in the USA.
Ingrid has held a number of V.P. roles in Customer Service and is credited with holding onto major accounts for twenty two years without any formal contracts in place – a testament to the quality of service these clients were receiving.
Now focusing on renewables and the environmental benefits of recycling and Battery Storage, Ingrid looks forward to adding her Customer Service experience to the team.
Passions include travel, languages and animal welfare.
